Further Teaching Activities
The world of Computing covers so many aspects of our lives. The seven additional resources on this page support further cross curricular learning activities for Literacy, Science, History and Art & Design:
- A Brave new World: Includes an activity to create a piece of descriptive narrative to show a person’s reaction to a new piece of technology.

- How much is too much?: Exploring the issues surrounding making the most of the benefits of technology and safe computer use for the user and those around them.
- New Fruit on the Block: To understand and use a simple programming language to create a working programme that makes a computer communicate with a user.
- Remember my name: Evaluating the discoveries and advances in technology over the time where computers and computing have been present.
- Thinking Keys (All Key Stages): Questions on the lasting legacy of our digital heritage. They will force you to look at the topics from different perspectives.
